Our group is largely social -- for visiting neighbors or former neighbors of the community and having fun and relaxation.  This isn't just for Rice River Township residents;  many members are from surrounding townships, even from Duluth and the Twin Cities. 

    We also frequently have county employees and other agencies that give talks and information about a variety of topics that especially concern seniors.  They also may offer blood pressure tests.

    We are a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization that raises money from events such as spaghetti and hunter's suppers.  Annual dues are kept very low.  Money left over is given to charitable causes.  We share the town hall with Rice River Township.  The hall is available to the community for rent.
